It’s the first weekend of December and the countdown is on. The kids are counting down the days left until Christmas morning and the parents are counting down how many days they have left to get ready for Christmas morning.
Sometimes it’s hard to focus on the true meaning of the season with all of the advertisements pumped for the television, internet, and billboards but Jesus is still the real reason we have Christmas in the first place. So, no matter what your day includes today – shopping, decorating, planning, or other – take time to remember what the Christmas season is really about.
If you missed any of the posts this week, take a look around while your here!
Wednesday we talked about misread intentions – a tough but nearly unavoidable obstacle we will all encounter.
Friday was a discussion about our worth. We used the example of an abuse twenty dollar bill to show how we are always valuable to God even in our worst state.
I hope you all have a peaceful weekend! God bless you and your family this Christmas season.
