Why to consider your spiritual attacks an honor.

President Woodrow Wilson once said

“If you want to make enemies, try to change something.”

.

It may seem that things have gotten tougher since you’ve decided to serve God or deepen your commitment to Him. That’s to be expected. Satan comes against us harder when we are determined to live our lives for Jesus instead of blending in with the world. He hates God and he hates us and wants nothing more than to convince us to give up on our relationship with Christ and sink back into our old habits, addictions, and lifestyle.

Don’t do it.

Consider the attacks an honor. You are recognized as a threat, but even better than that, you are recognized as one of God’s chosen.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

– James 1:2,3

.

When you face attack and are tempted to retreat, instead push in closer to God. Ā He will fight for you. Ā Ā Immerse yourself in His word. Ā It will direct you. Ā Surround yourself with godly men & women. Ā They can encourage you.
